This policy explains SmileyHitch returns and our 1-year limited warranty. For the fastest help, email support with your order number and photos if applicable.

Returns (30-Day Policy)

Returns are accepted within 30 days of delivery under the following conditions:

  • The item must be unused and in original condition
  • The product must not have been installed
  • All original components and packaging must be included

Customers are responsible for return shipping costs unless the product is confirmed defective. Shipping fees are non-refundable. Refunds are processed after inspection of the returned item.

1-Year Limited Warranty

All SmileyHitch products are covered by a 1-year limited warranty from the original date of purchase.

This warranty covers

  • Manufacturing defects
  • Electrical component failure under normal use
  • LED failure not caused by external damage

This warranty does not cover

  • Damage caused by improper installation or wiring
  • Physical damage or impact
  • Water intrusion due to misuse, modification, or incorrect sealing
  • Unauthorized repairs or alterations
  • Normal wear and tear

If a defect is confirmed, SmileyHitch will, at its discretion, repair the product or replace it with an equivalent unit. Proof of purchase is required. Warranty applies to the original purchaser only.

Installation is the responsibility of the buyer. SmileyHitch is not responsible for damages resulting from improper installation or misuse.
